Paul Duckworth - U16 Strikers Boys Coach
Paul coached recreational soccer for 8 years and select for 11 years, and this is his 6th year with SIU (and we are happy to this Brit on our staff!). He holds a USSF 'D' license and National Youth coaching licenses. Paul played rec and select soccer as well as high school soccer.
Dutch has over 27 years of competitive coaching experience, has been the boys soccer coach at New Albany HS since 1990, is an assistant coach for Indiana ODP and is also on the Kentucky and Indiana coaching education staff. He holds USSF “E” and "D" coaching licenses as well as the USSF National Youth License. He has also attended IU Soccer Coaching Symposium for the past 14 years as well as the
Mike has his “D” USSF license and is in his 3rd year as head coach. Mike has coached rec and assisted with a select team. He played high school varsity soccer, as well as rec and select club soccer. Mike hopes to convey his joy of playing soccer to another generation of players so they will develop an understanding of the game and realize that there is more to playing a sport (and in life) then winning or losing a game. Mike is married and has three children. He enjoys running marathons and triathlons in his spare time.
Paul’s goal is to create the best team possible and to have the respect of the players, parents and other coaches. He gives the kids the tools and knowledge to be the best they can while giving the encouragement needed to develop skills.
Paul is married, has two children and in his spare time attends church and likes to play golf and travel.
Rob Stevens - U13 Revolutions Boys Coach
Rob has coached rec soccer for 11 years. He has USSF “D” coaching license and recently attended Rene Meulensteen Academy training. He played soccer for 13 years in North Carolina, working at soccer camps during high school & college.
Rob hopes to instill confidence in his players as they develop as players and be a role model to respect the game. His goal is to teach the basic technical skills that are required for success in a fun and challenging environment.
Rob is married, has identical twin boys & in his spare time he likes to run, golf, landscape & spend time with his family.
Rene Meulensteen Academy training. He has played on various men’s indoor and outdoor soccer teams locally. Dutch is married and has one son. In his spare time he enjoys swimming, cycling, golfing, hiking, skiing and reading.
Allen Krebs - U12 Red Coach
Allen holds the “E” coaching license & has coached select since 1994, played high school varsity soccer for four years at Jeffersonville, has worked clinics & SCORE Soccer camps and has refereed high school soccer for six years. Allen’s goal is for each player to have FUN & enjoy the game of soccer. He wants each player to learn the lessons of life from a simple, yet complex game: how to be responsible, make your own decisions, be a team player and no matter what to adapt to the situation given to you. Allen is married and has two children, both of whom play SIU soccer.
Jamie currently holds a “D" coaching license & has 13+ years of coaching experience with teams at Mockingbird, Netsurfers, Ballard High School & Presentation Academy. Jamie holds player development as the measure of success to a victorious season and hopes to teach the value of self-discipline, respect and teamwork while having fun. He feels the lessons on teamwork & sportsmanship will be remembered long after the wins and losses are forgotten.
Jamie Oschner - U10 Red & U11 Firehawks Coach
Jamie is married and has 4 children. He enjoys spending time with his family & keeping in shape by running, biking & swimming in order to participate in triathlons in his spare time.
Travis Henretty - U12 Inferno Coach
Travis holds the “E” coaching license. He has played & coached both rec & select soccer, played high school varsity soccer, and was on the staff of the former Louisville Thunder semi-pro soccer team. He started coaching soccer in 1990 with NASA (New Albany Soccer Association). He has coached U6–U18 for NASA, FCYS, SCSA, and SIU. He has also served as the Assistant coach for the U14 Storm Team for three years. Travis’ goal is to develop players as individuals who will grow to love the game of soccer & learn to make good choices, both on and off the pitch. He believes that individual development is key -- with good individual skills, a strong team can be developed. Travis is the father of two wonderful boys and he enjoys camping and spending time outdoors in his spare time.
Russ Corby - U15 Storm Boys Coach
Russ has coached high school soccer for 13 years, as well as rec, select and premier division club soccer. Russ also played 4 years of varsity high school soccer and 4 years of collegiate soccer at Bellarmine University. Russ’ goal is to teach the kids the fundamentals technical and tactical soccer in a fun but challenging environment, with the hopes that the players will develop a love for the game similar to his own. He plans to teach the kids the skills necessary to succeed on and off the field in a competitive but friendly environment that will develop the player’s confidence in themselves and build a cohesiveness with their teammates. Russ has been married for 14 years and has two children who both play select soccer. He enjoys spending time with family, boating and golfing in his spare time.
