SIU U14 Boys Finish Second in State Challenge Cup
preliminary round the weekend of May 17th with wins over Indiana Invaders (2-0), Lawrence Soccer Club (5-0), and Pumas (3-1). In the quarter final game against Tippco Blue Heat the Mavericks won 3-0. They then went on to defeat the Columbus Orange Crush for a 2-1 semi-final win.
In to the finals the Indy Burn started with 2 goal advantage, but the MAVericks fought back to 2-1 after Cauldon Feldhaus finished off a Cray Trimble assist. Indy Burn scored twice more to almost put the game out of reach even though Jordy Rigsby and Kameron Jenkins scored goals to close to within 3-4. Congratulations - We are proud of you!!!

A Major League Soccer Summer Camp will be held at Cannon Acres on July 21-25. All campers receive an adidas soccer ball and t-shirt, evaluation and free companion ticket to a Chicago Fire soccer game. U14 Jaguar Girls Finish Second In Greater Indiana League
of the team's performance, saying 'they played a tough schedule and earned every victory'. The girls have worked long and hard to reach this level of play and to prepare for high school soccer. Most of the Jaguar girls will play high school soccer this fall while several of them will be in the 8th grade.

The SIU U14 Jaguars recently finished in second place in the AA division of the Greater Indiana Regional League of Soccer (GiRLS).
The Jaguars played and defeated teams from Indianapolis, Lafayette and Terre Haute this season. Coach Todd Perkins was very proud
This season marked the last for the Jaguars who have been with SIU for the past six years. Girls from the Jaguars participated in tryouts for Net-surfers teams as a part of the SIU/Net-surfers collaboration. Net-surfers Coaching Director Dave Smith is excited about the SIU girls coming on board and the potential for the two clubs. Most of the Jaguar girls will join the Net-surfers U14 and U15 teams.
