Fall Rec Soccer Season Information
Rosters for Recreational teams (U5 -U10) will be released by 8/15.
Rosters for Rec Plus (U11 and above) teams will be released by 8/8.
The fall Recreational schedule begins on the following dates:
U6 - Thursday, Aug 26
U7/8 & U9/10 - Saturday, Aug 28
U5 - Monday, Aug 30
RecPlus (U11 and above) begins on Saturday, August 28. Actual schedules may not be available until the week of the games.
There will be no games on Labor Day weekend. Actual schedules will be released by August 20th.
U5 through U10 age groups will play at Sam Peden Community Park on Grant Line Rd.
Rec Plus home games are at Cannon Acres.
Late Registration Fall Rec Soccer Through 7/26
Late registration for fall Rec soccer is now being taken on a space available basis. The deadline to late register for fall rec soccer is July 26. The SIU recreational soccer program is for children ages 4-16. We provide the opportunity for all children of any skill level to learn and play soccer. Friday, Aug. 13th, 6pm at The Hyatt Regency Downtown Louisville
Join us at Cardinal Park the following evening, Aug. 14th, for Family Night as the Cardinals take on the Lady Vols of Tennessee. Admission is FREE and the team will also conduct a free clinic to kids, K-8th grade, before the game from 5pm-6pm as well as an autograph session post game.
Louisville Women's Soccer is excited to announce Brandi Chastain, the 1999 Women's World Cup hero for Team USA and Olympic Gold Medalist, will headline the Women's Soccer Kickoff Dinner on Aug. 13th at 6pm at the Hyatt Regency in Downtown Louisville. Tickets are $35 per adult and $25 per child and include an autograph session with Brandi as well as dinner and entertainment. A silent auction will also be held in conjunction with the event. Seven SIU Players Selected For 2010 State Olympic Development Program Teams
Congratulations to these SIU players who were named to the Indiana ODP (Olympic Development Program) State Team for 2010!!!! Logan Rauck, Alex Duckworth, Matthew Jerrell, Zach Yagle (all U13), Chase Gosman (U14), Vincent Straight and Cray Trimble (U16). These players will represent Indiana and compete this summer at Regional ODP Camp against the state ODP teams from the other 12 states in our region. Good luck to all!
