2013-14 Academy Signups Open
Any current U7 or U8 player ( born between 8/1/04 & 7/31/06) is eligible to participate in our Academy. We will have a Girls Academy and a Boys Academy in 2013-2014. Cost is $160 for the Fall and $160 for the Spring, plus $30 for the uniform.

The “Academy” concept is a way to organize players placing emphasis on player development over team results. The selection process involves keeping all players who sign up to play without putting them on “A”, “B” or “C” teams. There is limited travel. On game day, players may be grouped based on ability or mixed. During the match, no official score is kept. All players will receive equal playing time. Players are not pigeon-holed into a fixed position. The four major objectives in having a Developmental Academy League are to create a better environment (FUN) for player development, coaching education, parent education, and referee development. Anyone who signs up for our Academy program is automatically placed on our team. Emphasis is on player development and not winning. Our Director of Coaching is the Academy Director, who monitors the Academy coaches. The Academy season is the same as the other Select teams, but no tournament play is involved. The Academy may travel short distances to play other Academy teams in the area.
