Jeremy Kramer
President
Jeremy Kramer has proudly served as the SIU Board President for nearly two years, following two years as Vice President. His family has been part of SIU since 2018, when his son began as a recreational player and later joined the travel program. Jeremy’s first involvement with SIU came as a recreational coach for his son’s team, and he has since become a certified referee. Although he had little soccer experience at the start, he has enjoyed learning the game alongside his son as his passion for soccer and swimming grew. Jeremy values the opportunity to work with SIU’s dedicated volunteers and coaches to help develop healthy, confident, and community-minded young athletes.
Professionally, Jeremy serves as Vice President of the Louisville & Indiana Railroad Company and has spent the past 24 years in the railroad industry, holding roles of increasing responsibility. He also served 12 years in the U.S. Army Reserve, concluding his service with a deployment to Afghanistan as Senior Advisor to the Country of Afghanistan on Railroad Operations.
Jeremy is an Indiana University Southeast graduate and current IUS graduate student, having earned both his undergraduate and MBA degrees with honors. In addition to his work with SIU, he serves on the River Hills Economic Development Commission Board of Directors, is a former trustee at Wesley Chapel UMC, and volunteers as a USA Swimming Official.
