Weather Safety Guidelines

At Southern Indiana United, player safety is always our top priority — both on and off the field. We follow strict weather safety guidelines to protect our athletes, coaches, and families during inclement conditions. In the event of lightning, thunder, or severe weather, all activities will be paused and fields will be cleared immediately. Practices or games may be delayed or canceled based on field conditions, temperature, or heat index. SIU communicates all weather-related updates promptly through email, social media, and TeamSnap to ensure families have the latest information before heading to the field.
