Travis Ross
Director of Goalkeeping
Travis Ross is a U.S. Soccer C Licensed coach who has been coaching with Southern Indiana United (SIU) for the past five years. He has led multiple boys’ teams and served as a goalkeeper trainer, bringing decades of competitive playing and coaching experience to the field. A proud and active member of the Southern Indiana soccer community, Travis is dedicated to developing players both on and off the field.
Travis began his soccer journey in the 1990s with SIU, then known as the New Albany Soccer Association. As a player, he competed with elite regional clubs including Javanon, Louisville Soccer Alliance, and Santos F.C. in Phoenix, Arizona. He played high school soccer for Floyd Central High School (IN) and Mountain Ridge High School (AZ), earning recognition for his performance and leadership. Travis continued his soccer career at Tri-State University (now Trine University), where he was named the team’s Most Valuable Player.
As a coach, Travis focuses on technical and tactical development for both field players and goalkeepers. His sessions emphasize discipline, engagement, and long-term growth, aiming to foster players who are intrinsically motivated to play soccer at a high level.
